It was not too long ago when the world was in its natural habitat, people living, planning their next outfit, parties, weddings and everything else, when it got hit with the biggest pandemic in humankind’s history – COVID -19, a virus from the Novel Corona family that has led to a ravage.
Started in Wuhan, China, it soon spread across Italy, Korea, US, India and many other countries causing a massacre of human lives. It’s been more than a month but the cases have only increased and so has the panic.
This panic led to fashion shows beginning to be shelved all around the world, retailers having to close their stores due to the fear of the outspread. The entire fashion industry has started to witness an overturn and e-commerce websites are facing hurdles due to less traffic and delivery/logistics complications.
Several world-famous designers like Christian Siriano, Anita Dongre, Brandon Maxwell, Prabal Gurung and many others have halted their regular operations to manufacture masks, surgical gowns, provide essential resources and donate funds required by the medical fraternity and doctors, to fight this virus.
The world has united to do their bit by pausing every other engagement to fight the life-costing disease, the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19. The whole of India is under a lockdown and Taruni has decided to remain closed for the mutual health and safety of our employees and customers, until the situation improves.
The Coronavirus might be the hardest challenge we humans have faced so far, but with intense precautions laid down by the WHO and Government of India, we can surely surpass this distressing pandemic. Until then stay home, stay safe and continue to explore our shelves on www.taruni.in.
